Leaders after God's heart

As my fellow countrymen go to the polls tomorrow bear in mind that though Saul had been 'the peoples choice' David is the one God had chosen. People might go to the Polling Station with a 'preferred candidate' but I believe God's will is what will prevail...as when David become anointed & later crowned king. Tomorrow marks a commencement of a new era in our nation. When the children of Israel were leaving Egypt the Egyptian army was swept away by the waters of the Nile. God is going to sweep away the old by uprooting all elements which are not in line with His will. Proverbs speaks of the nation rejoicing when the righteous (those in right standing with God) are in authority. As people we might look at the outside appearance (supposed numbers, resources galvanised etc) but God looks at the hearts of those aspiring candidates. David stood before a Goliath that many had thought was unbeatable, but he emerged victorious because he didn't go against G

The List: Role of Companies in Controlling Countries

A lot of people were waiting in eager anticipation to see the list of people/companies which have externalised funds from Zimbabwe. The list which has been published has been received with mainly disdain in the social media comments which I have been exposed to. Something which is likely to be missed by some people is the role of companies as separate legal entities in carrying out transactions. Of Buses and bus drivers: Zimbabwe’s political landscape

Scouring different discussions on social media, one tends to come across the metaphor of the change of guard as a driver changing but the bus still being the same. If we look at the bus and driver metaphor, these are the role players;           Bus- Zimbabwe the State          Former bus driver- H.E. RG Mugabe          Current bus driver- H.E. ED Mnangagwa (former conductor a.k.a VP)          Engine- Zimbabwean economy          Wheels- Industry and Commerce          Road- relationships domestic and foreign          Transmission- government and line ministries           Passengers- citizens of Zimbabwe The ushering in of the current government following the November military intervention can be termed different things depending on the commentator. Some see the intervention as a hijacking of the bus and some regard it as a rescuing of a bus which was headed to a precipice. Whichever view you hold, there is a new driver in town H.E.ED and you bette
